Unfulfilled desires.
We consider God as a super power that controls the universe with some magical powers and we follow different religious teaching with an aim to unite with God. Each and every living being has a soul within, which is primarily a part of the supreme soul or the God. When we complete our journey on this earth the soul leaves the body to be a free soul moving freely in the universe.This free soul has a choice to unite with the supreme soul or be born again. A person who has completed all his wishes or a person who completed this journey in this world after fulfilling all his desires, his/her soul would choose to unite with the supreme soul or the holy spirit.
When a person has some unfulfilled desires at the time of death, the free soul looks for its next mother to be born again so as to fulfill his desires. It could be a wish of having made a house for its children or having married its daughter or having done something worthwhile for its family or maybe having done something for its country. Unfulfilled desires may be even about hatred like an unfulfilled desire about settling scores with its enemies or causing a loss to its partner etc etc. This free soul then looks for a womb to be born again to complete its unfulfilled desire.
Most of the time the soul chooses a womb very near to where it was living in the previous birth so as to complete its job. It may be born in the same family or even in the family of its enemy. Sometimes we hear about unbelievable family feud where by a family member kills its own family member or a son destroys the business empire build by his own father. Many a times we are unable to explain an unworthy son being born to a great family and spoils the repute of the family. It could be possible that the son had a grudge with this family in its earlier birth. So when the person died it chose to be born in this family. After its death the soul of the person found the womb of a enemy family and was born again to fulfill its grudge against this family. Sometimes we see extra ordinary skills in a child in early years which is because of its unfulfilled desire in its previous birth. It gets born again with focus on acquiring these skills in its early years and fulfilling its desires from previous birth.
